However, such strategies would drastically change soon. In the late 1930s, Bell Aircraft presented the organization with a sleek concept complete with a streamlined finish that made it look like a winner. The P-39 Airacobra was unlike anything ever seen before and featured several innovations that marked a departure from conventional fighter design, heavily influencing future developments.
