US Marines test new Monster Amphibious Transporter
The Marines have awarded BAE Systems a $198 million contract for 30 Amphibious Combat Vehicles and will eventually replace 870 of the older vehicles with the ACV. The new vehicle can take a squad of marines from ship into land combat at speeds of up to 65 miles per hour.
