US has accused Russia of plotting a fake attack by Ukrainian forces as a pretext for invading its neighbour. Pentagon said the alleged Russian plot included production of a graphic propaganda video. Pentagon said that Russia may show staged explosions and use corpses and actors as grieving mourners. However, Russia denied it was planning to fabricate an attack and said the US did not provide evidence to support the claim.
