US Test-Fire Missiles
South Korea and the U.S. fired a Hyunmoo-II ballistic missile and an Army Tactical Missile System missile into the East Sea on Wednesday. The South Korean military explained the tests were aimed at highlighting their rapid response capabilities and those of the U.S. military. Earlier, North Korea test-launched a suspected intercontinental ballistic missile and two shorter-range weapons toward its eastern waters Wednesday, South Korea said.
