Ukraine claims Russia shelled Sumy Oblast 55 times and attacked Yunakivka, Myropillia and Krasnopillia communities. Ukraine’s military claims it destroyed a Russian command post and hit 2 strongholds in the south. Ukraine’s intelligence claims Russian forces tortured Ukrainian POWs in Olenivka before executing them. US officials alleged that Russia is trying to fabricate evidence to make it seem like the Ukrainian forces were responsible for the attack.
