Russia said its forces had shot down a Ukrainian SU-25 military plane near Kramatorsk in eastern Ukraine. Russia accused Kyiv of carrying out drone strikes on the site of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in southern Ukraine. Ukrainian official Andrey Yermak said President Zelensky wants to liberate Russian-held territories as soon as possible. Britain will send scores of artillery guns and over 1,600 anti-tank weapons in the latest supply of arms to Kyiv. The commitment comes after the outgoing PM Boris Johnson promised a further £1bn of military support last month.
