Operational problems with Germany’s PZH 2000 Howitzers
Ukraine’s military is facing operational problems with Germany’s PZH 2000 howitzers. According to the German newspaper Der Spiegel, the state-of-the-art Panzerhaubitze 2000 artillery guns are “breaking down” on the battlefield. Germany provided 14 canons, but 6 were recently sent to Lithuania for repair. Neither Berlin nor its defence industry has supplied the spare parts required to repair the canons.
