Ukraine War

Under a Soviet-style program due to be introduced next year, high school students in Russia will be taught to respond to a nuclear or chemical attack, deliver first aid and handle firearms. The addition of basic military training in school curriculum is seen as part of a broader Kremlin push to whip up patriotic fervour in educational institutes amid the war in Ukraine.
