Medevac Training

Exercise Northern Strike 19 conducted medevac training on 28 July in Camp Grayling Grayling, Mich. The training was a collaboration with the 41st Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT), Oregon National Guard Brigade Senior Physician Assistant, Company C, 7th Battalion, 158th General Support Aviation Battalion (GSAB) Army Reserve and Medics from 2nd Battalion, 122 Field Artillery, Illinois Army National Guard.

In this video 41st IBCT Command Sgt. Maj. Bradley Huppunen is loaded on a Jungle Penetrator by C co 7-158th GSAB crew chief Sgt. Jayson Cole and Medic Sgt. Lara Rogers, then hoisted up to the hovering HH-60M Blackhawk helicopter.

Northern Strike 19. Northern Strike is one of the largest reserve component exercises supported by the U.S. Department of Defense. Its mission is to maximize the full spectrum combat readiness of National Guard units through realistic, cost effective joint fires training in an adaptable environment, with an emphasis on cooperation between joint and coalition forces.
