Delay in its Expected Ground Offensive
The Israeli military has said that the delay in its expected ground offensive is due to “strategic considerations” and “the entire situation in the Middle East”.
A fourth convoy of aid trucks is expected to be allowed into Gaza, bringing more urgently needed food, water and medical supplies – although the UN said it would struggle to continue distributing supplies unless Israel lifts its embargo on fuel deliveries too.
Warning: there are highly distressing scenes in this report.
