Alleged clash between Iranian and American Forces in the Gulf
As per an alleged clash between Iranian and American forces in the Gulf, the Iranian navy claims to have forced a U.S. submarine to surface as it entered the Persian Gulf. Shahram Irani, the commander of the Iranian Navy, said that the American submarine had approached Iranian seas but had “corrected its course after being warned.” Although the U.S. Navy commander has denied Iran’s claim and called it disinformation.
