William Joyce AKA Lord Haw Haw, was one of the most notorious figures in WW2 Nazi propaganda and his “Germany Calling” broadcasts to Britain during 1940-45 unsettled a nation at war. He was hunted by MI5 at the end of the war, who wanted to place him on trial for high treason, an offence that carried the death penalty.
