The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle is a multi-role fighter developed by McDonnell Douglas in the early 1970s. Manufactured in an amount of about 1200 units, the F-15 is one of the most mass-produced fourth-generation fighters and, before the F-22, was the flagship fighter of the US Air Force. For 2019, production continues with Boeing Company.
