The battle for Donbas raged on as Russian forces tightened their grip around the key cities of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk. The situation in Lysychansk had become “significantly worse”, as per the regional governor of the Luhansk region Sergiy Gaiday. A girl had died and four people were hospitalised after a Russian shell fell on a residential building, Gaiday said. Russia said its air defense systems had shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 ground attack plane in the Dnepropetrovsk region. Watch the video to know more.
