NATO is preparing for one of its biggest exercises in Scandinavia amid heightened tensions with Russia. In June, over a dozen NATO members will be joining forces in northern Europe for Baltic Operations 22 (BALTOPS 22). The exercise will take place in Sweden which alongside its Nordic neighbor Finland recently applied for NATO membership. The 51st iteration of the Baltic Operations exercise will take place from June 5-17.
