Again! Russian Lancet Successfully Destroys Leopard Tanks
Tanks operating in open terrain face threats not only from the sides but also from above, as modern drones increasingly pose significant risks. Recently, Western-donated tanks, including two German Leopard tanks, were lost in Ukraine. On August 5, the Russian Ministry of Defense released a video showing the destruction of these tanks belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Russian reconnaissance units reportedly identified the locations of the Leopard tanks in the Kharkov region, where they were engaging Russian positions. In response, the Russian command employed advanced weaponry for precise strikes, using Lancet loitering munitions and Krasnopol high-precision shells fired from a Msta-S self-propelled howitzer to destroy the tanks. This event marks a severe setback for Ukraine, following the recent loss of another Leopard 2 tank.
