A decline in relations between Israel & Russia has been noticeable recently amid the war in Ukraine. This includes Israel’s siding with the West over Ukraine and striking a deal with the EU to supply natural gas as an alternative to Russia. While Israel has rejected calls to provide advanced weaponry to Kyiv, it has taken a more pro-Ukraine position in recent months. Moscow’s move to ban a Jewish immigration agency has further strained ties between Israel & Russia.
