Former President Ronald Reagan gives a Veterans day speech on November 11th 1985. Imagery includes photos taken from the Invasion of Normandy, the Vietnam War, as well as photos of modern day Sailors and U.S. Vessels conducting a variety of exercises in support of multiple missions documented by Navy Public Affairs Support Element East Sailors. Veterans Day is a federal holiday in the United States observed annually on November 11, for honoring military veterans, that is, persons who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
