The Final Voyage of the USS Enterprise
This HD documentary is about the final sea mission of the aircraft carrier Enterprise (CVN 65) with an overview of the ship’s history with some very emotional interviews with veterans, their families and brave new sailors who lived aboard as the crew disembarks for the last time. Nicknamed the “Big E”, she was constructed at Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Company in 1958 and launched on September 1960. She was officially decommissioned on February 3, 2017, after over 55 years of service.
