Sailors aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Vella Gulf (CG 72) load and Shoot a Close-in Weapons System, 5-inch gun, .50-caliber machine gun and .240 machine gun. Vella Gulf is conducting operations in the Atlantic Ocean as part of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group.
