In the Kursk region of Russia, the echoes of conflict remain vivid as the territory continues to bear witness to the unfolding events of the Russia-Ukraine war. Months after Ukrainian forces made a significant incursion, capturing around 1,500 square kilometers, Russian troops have regained control of over two-thirds of the contested land.
