The controversial bombing of Dresden resulted in the loss of most of its heritage and heavy damage to whatever remained intact. But over the last thirty years, Dresden has seen a true renaissance, and most of its former glory has been restored. Even more reconstruction efforts are underway, but not without its challenges!
