M777 howitzer & a tractor with ammunition destroyed in the first drone strike. Five personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were killed in the Russian drone strike. Another M777 howitzer was destroyed by the Russian Armed Forces in South Ukraine. The M777 howitzer can strike over extended distances, regardless of terrain & obstacles. The M777 system boasts of a minimal logistical footprint, a big loss for Zelensky’s men. Howitzers’ long range allows a battery to fire on various targets without moving. Howitzers help slow or stop an enemy offensive or pave the way for a friendly one.
