Ukraine War
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, a key ally of Putin, has announced that his teenage sons would be going to fight in Ukraine. Kadyrov says his three sons, aged 14, 15 and 16, will soon travel to the Ukraine frontline to fight alongside the Russians. Experts say Kadyrov’s decision to send his children to the conflict zone can be considered a war crime. Meanwhile, the Chechen leader has publicly attacked the Russian military’s top brass after Putin’s forces faced an embarrassing defeat in Lyman, Donetsk. Kadyrov recently also urged Moscow to use a low-yield nuclear weapon in Ukraine.
