Russia’s former President Dmitry Medvedev has warned the West about “possible incidents” at EU nuclear plants. A Russian-appointed official in Kherson was killed in an apparent car bomb attack, local authorities reported. Russian forces shelled seven regions of Ukraine, killing seven civilians in Donetsk region on August 11. Ukrainian officials have said that Russia launched 11 missiles on Kramatorsk alone in the last 24 hours. Ukrainian officials said that Russian troops attacked 200 times in both regions on August 11. A New York Times report claims that Russia has lost at least 500 troops every day in its war in Ukraine. UK’s Defence Ministry has said that explosions at the Crimea airbase have led to the loss of eight Russian combat jets.
