Russia launched 8 missiles from the Caspian Sea on August 2, targeting southern, central, and western Ukraine. Ukraine’s military claims the country’s air defense systems intercepted 7 out of 8 missiles in the Russian strike. Mykolaiv mayor claims that explosions, including from cluster bombs, have been heard across the city. According to officials, Russian troops fired at Nikopol 1,100 times with MLRS over the past 3 weeks.
