The Impact of Suicide
Michigan National Guard Command Chief Master Sgt. Trever Slater discusses the emotional impact of suicide on responders, as well as the surviving friends and family. Directors of psychological health are available to all Michigan Airmen and family members, located at each of the wings.
Chief Slater ends the interview with a call to action, that all leaders share a responsibility to start the conversation.
